As I gaze out the large window beside me, I remember how, just yesterday, it was filled with bright sunshine, temps topping at 63 degrees… a day more like mid-September than mid-December.
And here we are today, gray, drizzling, temps in the mid-30s at best, damp and raw, with snow on the doorstep, soon to arrive in two days.
Oh well, such is life in New England.
As the weather does what it does, I sit here wondering what’s next. I spent the morning assembling a small collection of three pieces, one of them brand new, and all of them not seen before. A good collection, if I do say so myself, but then… I’m biased.

I think it runs about 73 pages in total, the last of the three stories longer than the two before it, but all of them recent works, none of which have been published anywhere.
And now… what do I do with them? There’s the question of the moment, and one for which I don’t have an answer. It’s too small to consider publishing as a Kindle offering, especially now that Amazon has stopped the Kindle Single option, and I really don’t want to go through the exhausting process of submitting individually, and then waiting until I trip over the beard that I don’t have today for a response!
Been there, done that.
I don’t know. I suppose I’ll figure something out. Once I do, I’ll mention it here, that I can promise.
Until then, do sleep well…
